"The brighter the light, the darker the shadows."

an Idea I have been toying with ever since I started writing RWDWP, and Healing Mishap. I create a cast, a motley crew of individuals from varying backgrounds and set them against a force deemed "Evil" however I have noticed a something.

one of the major villains is ecclesiastical in nature. Always.

whether it is Derrik and Lanzerus, or the unnamed non-magician in RWDWP. I don't hate church, or religion for that matter, it just seems so easy to take something offering so much and twist it into a force of darkness. It is a simple idea we have all understood since we were little, [refer to the title of blog-post]

I also noticed my plots don't flow very well.

They flow like a river broken periodically by sharp jagged rocks that I think throw some readers off from wanting to read my works. Also taking a six month break didn't help with that at all. I think I might take down RWDWP and rework it. With a more jointed plot and semblence of coherence that I feel as an earlier work doesn't quite have, I think I might draw a little more attention.
