Health update

First, thank you to all who responded to my earlier blog. Not only were there far more well-wishers than I expected, there were some from people I never would have expected. (There were also a couple of people who were notable by their absence, but that's all I'll say about that.)

Anyway, after some rescheduling due to equipment malfunctions I finally got the tests run yesterday, and I did not luck out. So in the very near future I will be having at least a triple bypass. I'll be headed back south to get the best surgery I can, I'm hoping for the minimally-invasive or robotic surgery, which eliminates having to crack the chest open and shortens the recovery time. I have a consult with a heart surgeon thursday and hope to learn more about what is possible then.
