20 hours ago...

I didn't believe it.

After reading the comment to my latest blog, I became curious about how long I've been posting here... Looking at my account, I discovered that I registered here 3 years ago (& 20 hours)... And, on the 8th, it'll be three years since I started posting Who Was I.

It's hard to believe that a little more than three years ago, I KNEW I couldn't write (fiction). Now, I think I can do an "okay" job - but it's a fun thing to do. Three years ago, I was marking time... Having a LOT of trouble dealing with knowing who I was, but unwilling to let myself dream of being myself - mostly for my family's sake. So much has happened in those three years. WOW.

Thank you all for the comments/encouragement you've provided. I want to take this time to specially thank (you can blame if you think that's more appropriate) two wonderful ladies who convinced me to start writing and to post here: Karen Page and Angharad! Without their initial "push" I'm sure I'd still be just a reader and occasional editor. THANK YOU both! I just hope that some day, my writing may be as well received (okay, I'd like it to be even better received, but I'll not hold my breath. LOL).
