Venus Cursed! Update

No, it's not going live just yet, but I wanted to talk about it, so there! ;p

Anyway, here's where things stand right now:

• Venus Cursed!: I've had a chunk of chapter 113 sitting on my hard drive for ages, but I'll probably be rewriting it as I've never been able to get anywhere with it. On the plus side, everything is really starting to come together in my head so I should have plenty to write about! In case anyone's wondering, there is no real planned end to Venus Cursed! It may go for years, or not, but I expect there to be plenty of new chapters before it ends.
• Dreamwalker: Done, just in case you didn't notice. ;)
• Sarah's Shadow: Also done, but there may be a sequel of sorts in the future. Kind of far down the line, though.
• The Watcher: I hadn't intended The Watcher to go very long, but new ideas lead me to think it may be very long running, indeed! We'll see, but I'm currently working on the next chapter (7). It won't be posted for quite a while, since there are several chapters of A Father's Rebirth, Toil & Trouble, and at least one chapter of Venus Cursed! to go before it goes up. But I wanted to work on it to help bring everything together in my head so that I can do a good job with Venus Cursed! chapter 113. Alternatively, it may end relatively early but have a sequel. We'll see.
• Who Watches the Watcher?: Chapter four is done, but will not post for a while, either, for the same reasons. I expect there to be one to three more chapters, then it should be done. A return visit by Mana is not out of the question, though.
• Toil & Trouble: The next two chapters are done, but they don't bring us up to date on Venus Cursed! yet, only chapter 100. Not much time goes by in the last twelve chapters, though, so there probably won't be too many more chapters before it catches up. As for longevity, I expect Toil & Trouble to continue for quite a while.
• A Father's Rebirth: The next two chapters of this are also done, and also don't bring us up to date yet. Only one or two more chapters should be needed, though, I think. I'm leaving lots of hints about where this is going, partially because I'm hoping readers will throw out some ideas that might help! I can get there on my own, but some ideas as to where certain issues come from would be helpful (That's all the hint I'm giving for now, sorry!). I expect A Father's Rebirth to continue for quite a while, as well. More so than any of the other side stories, I expect A Father's Rebirth to remain relatively separate from Venus Cursed! That doesn't mean that there won't be contact between the two story lines, but it won't be merging into Venus Cursed! like Sarah's Shadow did, or at least not anytime soon.

So, that's pretty much where I'm at. I have partial chapters for everything that's still going, too. I like to start the next chapter before finishing the one I'm working on so I have something to work with when I come back to do that chapter (if I don't write the whole thing right then, of course!). Also, sometimes I'm not sure where to break the story at so I just keep going until I peter out and then go back and find the best place to break it up.

Although Venus Cursed!, and its side stories, are my primary focus right now I'm still working on my other stories. I've had some trouble with many of them, but I have made progress with Chrysalis and The Arena. I posted a chapter of Boys Will Be Boys recently, so I don't feel bad about that one! ;P
