What to do

Just got back from third ER visit in 10 days and doctors have decided to put me on house arrest, er, home rest and keep me home from work until I can get a cardiac ablation done. Anyone here have anything like that done?

It seems they are tired of me coming to the ER (A&E to those across the pond) and getting the adenosine too many times; appparently, it stops and restarts the heart and kind of resets the heartrate - sometimes... Very weird feeling watching the ekg blip across the screen and watch it flatline for several seconds; I mean, what are they trying to do, give me a heart attack?!? Even weirder is the feeling when your heart stops, very strange... I have gotten the adenosine a total of 9 times now and do not recommend it as a way to have fun. Anyways, I can't leave the house for the next week until the ablation and will be trying to find a way to relieve my boredom. Any ideas?

ps Oh, and I get to do it as leave without pay, since I have burned through my sick and vacation leave :(
