busy cooking day

made 5 quarts and 1 pint of apple sauce, 4 pints of apple butter, split pea and ham soup as well as potato soup yesterday.

It was my first time making apple sauce. I didn't realize how many apples it takes to make. To think that my mother would make 10 - 20 times as much and can it every other summer. whew.

Now to see if I can get any writing done. ;)
