Dropping The Other Shoe (or, More Cheese)

So, if you read my last blog entry, you know I've been waiting (and waiting, and waiting, and waiting) to hear back about a job I interviewed for (and if you didn't read it, you know now).

They called me this afternoon and offered me the job.

I am so totally ___________! (excited, happy, relieved, psyched, jazzed, employed)

I still have to pass the background check, but that should be a mere technicality.

Whew! I'm so glad to have that settled.

Now my girl friend, the one who helped me out with my interview outfits and has already presented me with a bag of her (perfectly good, totally cute) cast-offs from a recent closet cleaning, wants to take me shopping again, to sort out a first-day-of-work outfit. The cheesy TG story that is my life lately just keeps getting cheesier and cheesier. And I'm lovin' every minute of it!
